Gatherings for Discussion (Small Focused Groups): 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
The NEW Bethany Prayer Room will be open for all who would like to spend this time in prayer. There are quiet, supervised places for kids to do homework during this time.
Our hearts are broken for the many who are suffering under these persistent storms in the South. One of our local Churches, Heartland Community Church, is taking the lead to round up donations/supplies that will be directed to the very needy. Bethany's Youth and Missions Committee (representing the Bethany Congregation) has gladly joined with them in their efforts, and to that end we ask that you would consider donating these vital supplies. (See the list of needed items below).
We will be receiving these donated items at Bethany Church, and then periodically delivering them to Heartland. Please consider making a donation, and please continue praying.
Thank you! God is with you!
The list of needs is as follows...
(Please no food or clothing items) diapers

Who We Are YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ, and commitment to social involvement. “The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”—Mark 10:45 At Youth For Christ, we wholeheartedly embrace the “and” of Mark 10:45. Jesus came to serve and to deliver the message of transformation. He came to embrace and to liberate. We look to Him as we carry out that “and” — the call to act, with an eternal perspective. Our Passion At Youth For Christ, our passion is to minister in the name of Jesus. We choose to walk the very same bridge He used; the “and” bridge combining Christian service with Christ’s sacrifice. We are liberated by His forgiveness and propelled by His love, to continually declare mercy and truth. We are ministers of His grace, on campuses and in juvenile halls… in wide open spaces and on congested street corners… to the outcasts, the transparent, the terrified. Our focus as a movement is on multiplying fruitful and sustainable Ministry Sites across the nation and around the world. We believe there are five essentials to establishing Ministry Sites.
YFC's 5 Essentials for Fruitful and Sustainable Ministry Sites:
Widespread Prayer We deliberately engage lots of Christians to intercede on behalf of the ministry site.
Loving Relationships We consistently pursue lost kids & engage them in life-long relationships with Jesus.
Faithful Bible Teaching We accurately handle Biblical truth, regularly coaching kids to apply it in their lives
Collaborative Community Strategy We intentionally work together with local churches, agencies and other partners to provide sustainable youth and family ministry.
Adults Who Empower We strategically develop leaders to reach young people from every people group.
